Ideas, developed into products.

We develop food and beverage products that are designed not just to taste good, but to work in the real world.

Why InnovATE

You know that moment when the label sounds perfect, the packaging looks convincing, and then the product itself tells a completely different story?

And suddenly, none of it quite adds up.

Because a product isn't just what it says on the pack. What's inside has to tell the same story.

If a product promises high protein, the protein should actually be there. If it promises real fruit, real fruit should have a meaningful place in the formulation. If it promises a functional benefit, the formulation should be built to deliver it. The promise on the front should make sense when you look at the formulation.

That's where InnovATE comes in.

We bring together food science, formulation, sensory thinking and commercial practicality to turn product ideas into something that can actually work, in the glass, on the shelf and at scale.

What we do

From first idea to final formulation.

Ten capabilities, one continuous process, covering the distance between a concept and a product that can actually be made, sold and repeated.

01

Product Development & Formulation

Turning product concepts into technically sound, scalable formulations.

02

Flavour & Product Optimization

Building flavour profiles and refining products for better taste, texture and overall experience.

03

Reformulation

Improving an existing product, whether the challenge is taste, texture, ingredients, nutrition, stability, cost or positioning.

04

Sensory Evaluation

Structured sensory assessment to understand what actually works with consumers and what needs refinement.

05

Scale-Up & Production Support

Bridging the gap between a successful lab formulation and real-world manufacturing.

06

Ingredient & Raw Material Sourcing

Identifying suitable ingredients, suppliers and practical alternatives.

07

Packaging & Product Guidance

Supporting decisions around packaging format and product presentation.

08

Regulatory & Labelling Guidance

Helping ensure formulation and product communication align with applicable requirements.

09

Testing, Stability & Shelf-Life Support

Supporting product validation and stability considerations.

10

Manufacturing and Commercialization Support

Helping move a developed product toward actual production and market readiness.

Formulation

Good ideas need refinement.

Formulation is about testing, comparing, understanding and refining until the product works. We iterate as much as the product needs, because getting it right matters more than simply calling it done.

Selected Work

Different products. One approach.

No two products need the exact same approach. We develop the formulation around what the product actually needs, rather than forcing it into a fixed formula.

How we work

From idea to something you can actually make.

01 — Understand

Understand

We begin with the product idea, brief, target consumer, positioning and commercial requirements.

02 — Conceptualize

Conceptualize

We translate the brief into a clear product direction and development strategy.

03 — Formulate

Formulate

We develop and iterate the product formulation with the right ingredients, flavour, texture and functionality.

04 — Evaluate

Evaluate

We assess the product through structured testing and sensory evaluation.

05 — Refine

Refine

We identify what needs to change and optimize the formulation accordingly.

06 — Scale

Scale

We adapt the formulation for practical manufacturing and production conditions.

07 — Validate

Validate

We support relevant testing, stability, regulatory and product requirements.

08 — Commercialize

Commercialize

We help move the developed product toward actual production and market readiness.

Why it works

Because a good product has to work in the real world.

Taste matters.

A technically correct product still has to be enjoyable.

The formulation matters.

Claims and positioning need to make sense when you look at what's actually inside.

Scale matters.

A formulation isn't finished if it only works in a lab beaker.

Commercial reality matters.

Ingredients, cost, sourcing, manufacturing and stability are part of product development.

The details matter.

Texture, flavour balance, appearance, shelf life and consistency can make or break the final product.

Ideas, developed into products.

Let's build something

Have an idea? Let's develop it.

Whether you're starting with a rough concept, an existing product that needs work, or simply an idea you want to explore — let's talk.
